Thunder Valley Flag Drags Kickoff Weekend of Drag Racing
The 10th Annual Thunder Valley Flag Drags is upon us!
Saturday, June 2 join us at Alaska Raceway Park for Thunder Valley Flag Drags, Car Show, and Concert. Spectator gate opens at 1:30 p.m. There will be live music by Boogie Shoes, a Pin-Up contest, tattoo contests, car show, and classic cars only drag races. Admission for the event are $10 for adults and $5 for military, seniors, and kids. Pits open at noon for car show entries and flag drag racers for pre-1974 cars only. Entrants can race their classic car for fun! All that is needed is a SNELL helmet rated within the last five years and long sleeves. Cost to race is $20.
Sunday, June 3 continues with more drag racing and is IHRA drag strip points racing all day! Spectator gate opens at 10 a.m. General admission for this day is $15 adult, $12 seniors and active-duty military, $10 youth 11-15 years old, and FREE for children 10 years old and under.
Food, beverages, and gift shop are available all weekend. The spectator parking lot is free with admission. Spectator fence parking for cars, pickups, motorhomes, and campers is available for a small fee.
