Things to keep in mind if camping at the race track. There is no dump site or water hookups. Limited electric spots on the drag strip side along the fence in the spectator lot, which must be reserved for the season and payed for in advance. Additional electricity usage fees may apply.
NOTE: Alaska Raceway Park enforces all Borough and State burn bans.
Spectator lot camping:
Camping is available in the Spectator Parking lot of the motorsports complex next to the drag strip and oval track. Spectator lot camping is free.
Pit area camping:
Camping in the pit area is available at a fee. Limited spaces are available and can be used on a weekend by weekend basis.
Season reserved pit camping:
There are reserved pit camping spots available along the drag strip fence. Pass includes a parking sticker for your camper/motorhome, and a hang tag for your other vehicle. To top it off, a metal sign will reserve your spot at Summer Camp.
