Mylaps Transponders need to be renewed
All transponders sold at Alaska Raceway Park last season need to have their subscriptions renewed and firmware updated prior to use this season.
This process must be done from a computer and cannot be done at the track.
The process is two (2) steps on the Mylaps website. Racers need to sign into their (Racers) account, renew their subscription on each transponder they are planning to use this year and then activate the transponder (which means connecting the transponder to their computer for the update).
In doing so, they will also receive the latest Firmware update automatically (it will upload and install on their transponder).
MyLaps offers subscriptions in 1 year, 3 year & 5 year increments - Cost is dependent on if the transponder is Direct Power or ReChargable. They will need to log into MyLaps to determine price, renew subscription (pay for the subscription) & activate them.
Again, this must be done prior to use this season.
